We recently went to Franco’s on Speen St. in Natick. It’s not a huge place but has a fair amount of seating and casual interior.
They serve homemade rolls with olive oil which were pretty good:
I got eggplant parm and opted for the $1 more fresh pasta:
I loved the sauce and the fresh pasta made all the difference. It was much softer and seemed to absorb the sauce better. I really liked it.
Ethan got a calzone. I didn’t realise what a non-descript picture I took until later but this is what it looked like:
My uncle got a pizza, like he usually does when we go out:
He says Francos is one of his favorite places to get pizza around here. Ethan wasn’t crazy about his calzone but I’m still thinking about how awesome the fresh pasta and sauce was and I’ll definitely go back there for that.

Francos does great seafood pasta dishes as well. And their huge whoopie pies are a great treat for dessert.

I wish they still had the location on Rt 9 Framingham next to the Walgreens!

Franco’s is on it’s way out of this location come April. As a regular to this place (thanks to the amazing Florentine Raviolis) we found that the land lord does not get along with Franco (both Italian having something to do with it?) and their lease is not being renewed. I hope they find a place nearby as their food is really good and prices are reasonable.

Franco’s Trattoria has officially opened in their new location in Sudbury at the Mill Village.
They are serving the same great food except for pizza. There is already another pizza shop in the mall and they decided it best to serve their main dinners.
