I’ve gone to Regatta in Worcester and love their subs. The Regatta club is definitely my favorite but I do add a little oil and vinegar to it. Mrs. Prizzio is usually manning the front counter and she’s always smiling and friendly.

The sandwhiches here are AWESOME, but the service can be snotty depending on who is working the register, still its definitely worth it even having to endure the nasty condescending snarls you get sometimes.

I’ll second the recommendation for Sunnyside; I would also recommend J&M Diner in Framingham next to Goody’s Pizza. Excellent breakfast.

And those pancakes at Mel’s look pretty bad! The pancakes at J&M Diner are outstanding!

I will second the recommendation for Sunnyside - we don’t go out for breakfast often, but that is our “go to” place. I am making note of everyone else’s recommendations too!

It wasn’t just you. I ordered an iced tea there and the waitress brought me an iced coffee. When I asked her to switch my iced coffee for an iced tea, she argued with me, saying that it was unsweetened tea. I asked her to go back and double check, and sure enough, someone had labeled the two containers incorrectly. It wasn’t the mistake that bothered me, but that she didn’t believe that I could tell the difference between tea and coffee.

I agree with you about Mel’s. Try Gourmet Decisions in downtown Natick for a great breakfast.

I thought the decor was pretty clever and interesting (note the Indian in the middle of the course : man or woman?). But, one big oddity I noted on my second game was the roaring grizzly bear in front of the benches. In colonial New England (and presently)there were no such thing as Grizzlies; only black bears….

I’m a fan on Anthony’s right here in Framingham, but I’m an even bigger fan of Arcadia in Waltham. Worth the drive in. Great coffee, tasty food, and the two of us can eat there for about $10 with tip.

Also, I’m surprised you’ve never gone/written anything about Caseys Diner in Natick. Their hotdogs are one of a kind!
